How many points do you realistically expect from our next six fixtures?

Next six games sees four of them at home and I don't think we play anyone in the top six until Easter.

In fact from the 14 games remaining we only have three of the current top six to play.

Nine points from last six games very good.

I'd be disappointed if we only got nine from the next six matches. Every game is (on paper) easier that the last two that we won.

Rotherham H, Fulham H, QPR A, Blackburn A, Birmingham H, Ipswich H

'On paper' our run in looks fairly straightforward but of course it never is. The next four will be a good indicator.
A win is a win but beating Rotherham with a good performance will tell us so much more as would Fulham.
Much was very quickly made of our improved defence against Leeds, of not conceding, of the towering performance of our central defenders.
We then conceded three and our central defenders were not at their best. Thankfully we scored four.
Conceding two is common place. scoring three or four is rare.

A Leeds fan stopped me tonight to say well done on two great performances this week, and they were.

I think we can expect 8-15 points from that collection of games.

I don't think I expected anything from the Derby game until a few days before having seen them exert a lot of energy against Leicester and Bristol City. I think my new range is 5-13.

That was based purely on form i.e. 1.5 points per match. I think my next prediction of 16 straight wins including Leeds and Derby is much less likely mind...
