A couple of these moves are to do with penny pinching surely? Kennedy has been needed on the bench recently and given that NW likes to go with three centre mids sometimes, Halford as our only back up is a bit dodgy. I suppose the likes of Pilkington can drop deeper.
I won't be surprised to see us giving debuts to youth players before the season is out, so it could be a great thing. We won't make the play offs and we won't go down, so I'm sure this will happen.
