Why was it necessary to break Slade's PPG average into a pre and post-Trollope? Are you suggesting that Trollope turned Slade into a better manager? If so, his 0.72 ppg average contradicts that.
Also, Warnock's figures are skewed because of the new manager effect, and the shorter period of games. He also hasn't been forced to sell players left right centre up and down!
Slade did a decent job (with the talented squad he inherited) by the end in regard to points accumulation. But there was a massive and obvious improvement as soon as Paul Trollope arrived. I believe that's down to Trollope's arrival and his influence as coach, but what would I really know? I wasn't on the training field so I'm just guessing.

Some things you cant quite put your finger on, and are not wholly reflected in stats or even results, but it seems that since Warnock arrived, 'Cardiff City FC' started a return from exile, and continues to do so increasingly, week by week.
Priceless, pleasing and very welcome.
Neil Warnock looks like a nan... Could he be...? Is that...? No. No way.
In Slade's first transfer window, we signed 6 players and sold/released 5
Trollope joined the backroom staff on the 14th of February 2015 which means the pre-Trollope PPG is based on 19 games, Warnock has managed 18 which makes the comparison a fair one
Also claiming Warnock's figures are skewed compared to Slade's because of a "New manager effect" is ridiculous seeing as the amount of games included in the pre-Trollope PPG is similar to the amount included in Warnock's
Our best manager since DJ
To also support the 'be fair to Slade' sentiment, he wasn't allowed to bring any of his own appointments initially and instead had to make do with the cluster**** that was Young and Gabbidon as coaches.
I loved them both as players but they comprehensively proved that they had no clue about coaching. So finally being allowed to bring Trollope in enabled him to put right that problem. Unfortunately he was simply unable to inspire the fans. I was one of the ones on here wanting him to succeed but in the end it was clear that he didn't have 'it' - whatever 'it' is.
Warnock on the other hand has 'it' in abundance and for the first time in many years I am actually really looking forward to our next match as opposed to looking forward to talking to the people sat around me.
