You are going to have to remove the saved blocks from the options box then, the thing you couldn't find yesterday see if you can find the 'add your own filters' bit on the options page, then click on each one and press remove selected, if you can't find it I will try and take some screenshots.

I found adblocker was really slowing things up. I found a better blocker though - Ublock Origin - I am using Firefox but gather it runs on most browsers. Just google your browser and Ublock Origin - here is the add-in for Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/fir...ublock-origin/

You will find things speed up a lot. Make sure you freeze or uninstall adblocker though.

On a slightly related note FootyMad have suggested to me before that an ad free subscription CCMB could be an option.

I don't think you should have to pay anything and I think ads are ridiculous (no problem that ads are needed but not this intrusive) but would anyone actually pay to use the site?

Surely in this day and age it isn't rocket science to make a website readable with ads on their pages. I don't think people would care if they were integrated sensibly.
