My post earlier in this thread suggested that both parties had become separate enough from each other for there not to be a negative atmosphere, it turns out I was wrong.

10000 people ? Really .

He got a bit of deserved abuse to reacting to an offside decision ( or maybe to the poor pass that led to it) and that was it.

I quite like him and would have him back, but reacting isn't professional and if I was his manager I'd be having a word.

I was common knowledge at the time that he wasnt a fan of us supporters and wanted to move onto a bigger club ASAP

I didnt mind the ayatollah, the stand were calling for him to do it a few minutes earlier and then he did it to them when he scored, its all a bit of a wind up really.

He was a good youngster for us and we sold him for a few quid when we needed him and he has made a name for himself as a player that is a bit too good for this level but not good enough for the level above.
