Tickets for our next home Sky Bet Championship fixture against Cardiff City on Saturday 11th February (3pm) are selling fast, with over 25,500 tickets sold.

Due to the demand, the decision has been made to open the South West Corner of Elland Road.

This match is a ‘Category A’ fixture with tickets from £28 adults, £22 concessions and £5 juniors.

The Whites have won all of their last six home outings , without conceding a goal and Garry Monk's side will be looking to continue that run when welcoming the Welsh outfit.

In our last meeting in September, United defeated the Bluebirds 2-0 at Cardiff City Stadium, thanks to a Chris Wood penalty and a delightful strike from Pablo Hernandez.

Last time the two sides came head to head at Elland Road was in November 2015, when former United midfielder Alex Mowatt secured the Whites a 1-0 victory.

The game will also mark a return to Elland Road for our former manager Neil Warnock who is now in charge of the Welsh outfit.

Haven't been there since their stewards were heavy handed in throwing our supporters out for the serious crime of standing up during the game, a lot walked out with them and stood in the car park.

One of the few away games I will miss this season. Not paying that sort of money for an away game ticket. Scandalous.

Not in the spirit of the game is it.
Anyone know their rationale for this?
Is it simply because being a Category A game there need to be more police presence?
    Also, who decides the category?

I would have thought that the category would be based on the number of tickets sold (which this cannot be as none sold yet) coupled with the number of arrests made in recent meetings.

All away fans pay £37 at Leeds this season, and last for that matter.

Why don't we all get tickets in the home end? That'll learn 'em.

Sounds like they are charging away fans 50% more than their own fans... just because they can.

Call for a mass boycott from all way fans

There was one club (other than us) where that was happening only for the club to pay the additional charge to make the tickets cost-effective. In the long run that club screwed over all supporters in this league.

Did I imagine the rule that away supporters can't pay more than the most expensive home ticket? Or is that for international/cup football?

Ridiculous amount to make up for their home fans not turning up ! Mess of a club and will certainly not pay that to go there. Reading charged £20 and there were 2000 of us there ! EFL have to step in the same way as the Premier League did !

Suggest you all drop Leeds Utd AFC a line with your thoughts rather than whinge on this MB, lest the few who do decide to go face the ignominy of the dreaded "is that all you take away" chant on the day.

If you don't like the pricing, don't go.

    I have tweeted the following:
Dear @LUFC , if you charged less for your tickets you would get close to 2000 away fans to make up the shortfall of stay away home fans !

Doubt I will get any response though ! I was hoping to go to this but can't afford £66 to go !
