I'd imagine that rather than repair it, they'll give you a brand new phone.

There is a shop on a street corner on Queen street almost opposite Churchill way that repairs phones. The offered to replace my Samsung screen in 1 hour for 30 quid.
I don't know if they do iphone but it may be worth asking

expect a screen to cost about £50 - £60 all in

a new battery cost me £35, a Screen is slightly more work

Isn't the problem with getting it done somewhere for that sort of price will mean the screen will be cheap and of far worse quality than the original though?

Phone Mania is the one in Queen Street. £60 to replace screen also give a 3 month warranty. 👍

It might be the " lad in the back of the shop " is happy with earning 15 quid for 30 mins work as a new screen will only cost 15 quid to buy

to be honest all the people who run these " ifix boothes / shops " everywhere will be using similar screens, sure apple will use apple stuff, but anyone outside apple i doubt will

Now batteries are a similar thing, apple no longer make batteries for the iphone 5, so these ifix places find a supplier they like and stick to them, i have did my daughters iphone 5 battery, 10 mins work, the battery charged and then held charge for about 2 hours and died, when i spoke to a local ifix place, he told be that he has a supplier and will only use that, nothing else, i watched him change it, 5 mins for 25 notes, nice work
