Passed the ball away - Steve Bruce argued he was passing to their defender but the show on 5 laughed that it had gone to a Villa player - for the first and a Whittingham-esque trip for the deserved second.

No chance. Villa should be fine next season (but if they're not odds on for promotion by November then he'll go) and poor position is far more to do with budget cuts under Lambert and poor signings under Di Matteo.
