2 days I was told just making sure they weren't spinning me a line.

Quite new to VM, can't remember the last time my bb went down!

They usually have a log of when probs have happened....

Usually happens late evening/early morning - and two days is about right.

If no problems are shown, but you are experiencing issues, then call 150.

Did that earlier but it said no issues and still does.

The issue is in North Cardiff though as said above

They don't come this far North, so I'm stuck with Sky. We had broadband issues on and off yesterday, sky were washing their hands of it and blaming openreach. No shocks there then.

Any provider struggles at items even bug business /government, I'm in CF North , and can get 100mps without an issue the majority of the time , it is quick, what I have done in the past is find someone nearby with VM when your struggles ask them if theirs is struggling if its no , get on the phone ans tell what you have done and compared make them come out .

On the last call out I insisted they replace/check all the connections , at the exchange , into my hub , into my house , its been wonderful since , I had a theory the wring is years old and wherever its connection , it must wear or deteriorate .

Had the first outage for a long time yesterday in Cheltenham. Out for half the day. Then a bit slow at times and interference on some channels.

    Hi Rhiw-Blue,

I am retiring in April and moving back to Cardiff (Rhiwbina). Should I avoid Virgin for a TV/Internet package ?

The only reason I went with VM was I didn't want a landline and they are the only provider to offer this.
Prior to my switch I've been with sky for both TV and internet and we always get great internet speeds here and so never had a moments problem with them.
Personally I wouldn't go over to VM TV over Sky's offerings but that's just personal choice.

I'd just go with the deal that suits you because there's not much between any of the bigger suppliers but would avoid the cheap and cheerful options at the same time too!
