I had a similar problem with a car once, turned out there was a small gap between the windscreen and the frame. Whenever it rained, water would gradually gather in the footwell then mist up once the car warmed up.

It generally means you gave water getting in internally somewhere

Mine is misting up too the last few weeks. My heaters are broken so I guess that has something to do with it.

Apparently, Sludge often complained on here of his windows steaming up, but only whilst parked at Cefn Onn Park and The Wenallt.

What a scoundrel that man really is.

when it's raining and the windows mist up, just open one window a crack and the the windows will de-mist quickly.

    Don't use the re-circulation button

Drive with the fan on 2 or 3, the windscreen icon selected, and a moderate amount of hea

    Re: car misting up

There are water channels under the bonnet down the inner wings and bulkhead,if these are blocked with leaves or dirt when its raining or icy it diverts water into the heater blower vents creating the steam when the blower is on,if it was heater matrix it would steam up without blower on even on warm days and you would need to top up the header tank regularly

Do your jeans or trousers suddenly become rather soggy around the same time?
