The figures for the censuses prior to 2011 have been rounded up but they are approximately correct.

IF the trend (of the last 36 years, since 1981) in the growth of the population of UK Muslims continues - increasing by about 75% every 10 years - then there will be around 7.5 million in 2031, 13 million in 2041 and 22 million in 2051.
