Driving when on the phone new laws

    Don't forget March 1st.
If you're caught then it's 200 bucks fine and 6 penalty points.
Now while I consider that fair do's, and it could save lives. I do believe that people like me who are exceptional drivers should be exempt.
Ive eaten fish and chips while driving mun.
Some of us could drive all the time and never crash.
I'd wish there would be stricter rules for middle Lane hoggers

Middle lane hoggers should be dragged out of their cars and beaten to near death with a bat with nails in the end of it.

    Quite right.

Also, old people should only be allowed to drive on weekends to free up the roads for people who can drive over 23 mph.

What about the ones who hog the middle lane but also leave their indicator going for about 20 miles?

WHEN Supermarket shopping, remove the sticky label from a banana that shows its place of origin and attach it to your lapel. Then as you leave the store and are confronted by old people shaking collection tins, simply smile and say "already got one thanks".

OAPs. Phone doesn't ring as often these days? Simply pop a 'How's my driving?' sticker on your rear bumper for hours of 'lively' chat.

MRS R. Ensure you get to your desired destination on time on Christmas Day by not hogging the middle lane of the M5 and getting stopped by the Avon & Somerset Constabulary.

That's different, the road was empty.

    Hmmmm.
Thinly veiled "my Mrs was driving on Xmas day down the m5 in the middle Lane and got stopped by the police" post

And tailgaters. More accidents and pileups could be avoided if people kept the appropriate distance, especially in poor weather.

Correct. This last year I reckon it's been getting worse.
That stretch along the m4 with all the reading junctions. Crazy by there.
The next bit is along the Newport stretch

I was on the M5 the other day. The roadsigns said 'Keep 2 chevrons apart'. I had to do 140mph to keep up with a Porsche!

That wouldn't fool anyone. A sticky label doesn't look a bit like a collection tin.
