ps this is the same speaker that welcomed the Chinese President and worse of all - he graciously licked the bum of the Emir of Kuwait - who has banned homosexuals and Israeli Jews from his country.

Back of the net, my guess the comment was a clever ploy to muster Labour and SNP support in readiness for a potential vote of no confidence, which has been floating around for a while, hey they are politicians.

They have been trying to get rid of him for a long time now. He seems pretty neutral to me.
