    FAO Kippers.

Is this the kind of man you want to follow?

A completely scummy thing to do.

I imagine we won't hear the end of that now. Regardless of how many times he apologises.

True dat. A quick apology really should absolve him of any wrongdoing when pretending he'd been present at Hillsborough during the disaster and lost loved ones there.

    Scum.

Absolutely deplorable and completely morally bankrupt behaviour. Any other party leader would be forced to resign.

    Re: FAO Kippers.

Claimed he was at Hillsborough on the day of the disaster - Bollocks

Claimed he lost close friends on that day - Bollocks

Claimed to have once been a professional footballer at Tranmere - Bollocks

Claimed to have a PhD - Bollocks

Also gave a false address on his nomination papers which carries a sentence of 51 weeks imprisonment (will he serve a day of that? will he bollocks)

Seems to me that he's just the variety of absolute shameless lying twaat that would be right at home in the world of politics.

    Doesn't even go to games.

    Re: FAO Kippers.

So far he's lied about being at Hillsborough, losing a close friend at Hillsborough, being a professional footballer, having a PhD and lied on his leadership nomination papers about where he lives.

He sounds perfectly qualified to be a politician.

Even Jursset would struggle to keep up with this tosser.

It looks like he routinely lies so I'll read more before commenting.

I wonder if he's ever been in the royal signals?

Seems to have the right credentials to become an MP.

Next thing you'll be telling me the NHS won't be getting their extra £350m a week

Does this have to be brought up every time.

It was a suggestion, not a guarantee.

Who honestly thought we'd put our entire EU contribution directly into the NHS?. Really.

People who voted to remain and still can't get over the fact that they lost?

    Do I win?

Apart from anything else the 350m figure was greater than our EU contribution as it didn't include the rebate and it also didn't account for any reduction in tax receipts the government might face in leaving the eu.

That's one of the worse things about it, the cynical and calculated attempt to appeal to a vision of the working classes, whilst walking around dressed as a country gent.

And he'll get away with it too.

Yeah can't we all just forget that this was emblazoned on the side of a bus and mentioned all the time?
