anyone been to jrc global buffet in cardiff

It was my kids 15th birthday on the weekend - we said you can go for a meal wherever you like in Cardiff despite saying to them please not there they said Red Hot Buffet in Cardiff Centre after shopping as they had been with their mates before.

One kid was sick, my wife and another son had bad stomachs

The food was beyond awful like a school canteen from the 70s but less appealing

one to avoid then , buffets are funny things, they are either great ( we love the JRC at swindon and the Jimmy world buffet in bath, though the later has gone downhill slightly, thus the trip to swindon ) or they are crap

Breakfast buffets are superb but I am not a fan of the rest.

Buffets are great if someone else is paying for it. If it's from your own pocket then just go to a restaurant.

It's a long way to go for a bite to eat, but if you're ever in Singapore they do cracking buffets in the hotels there.

Which hotels have you sampled? The food in Singapore is pretty top notch in general.

We've had buffets in the Grand Hyatt & the Swissotel Merchant Court. But yes, the quality of food there is generally top notch and a lot cheaper than the hotel buffets. Probably why the quality and range of food in the hotel buffets is so high.

Tbf they are top end hotels.

or maybe you are just a whiny fussy eater who only likes the best ? ? ?

I have had some nice buffets, in the UK, USA, AUS and HK, all places i would happily return to
