    Next up. Rotherham

    Banana skin?

After two stunning away wins City have what could be classed as the easiest home game of the season on Saturday.

Lots of expectation. I hope they deliver.

We all really know what's going to happen don't we?

In our promo season, we were top after winning a string of home games before bottom -of-table Peterborough came to town.
    Another easy 3 points.

Playing the bottom team is never easy. Unless they are beyond hope.

They have more to gain so it won't be a straight forward game.

They will sit back and try to keep it tight hoping to score from a break or a set-piece. We will have to break them down, that is where we are at our worst at the moment. We have had 2 games with good results where the emphasis has been on the home teams to come on to us, that is where we are at our best.

It could be a potential banana skin.

Hudson was out and I remember thinking it was a good game for him to miss, being a home banker. As Ian St John said, it's a funny old game. Having said that, I do think we'll beat Rotherham quite handsomely. The recent Warnock inspired improvement in some players, the commitment of the whole team, and the confidence from the Leeds and Derby games, what could possibly go wrong. This one wil go to plan.

I think this could well go the way of the Wigan match unless Zohore or Morrison can get a goal reasonably early on to force them out of their shell.

Despite their record there are no easy games in this league.

Will Ajayi and Adeyemi be allowed to play?

Danny Ward is injured for them as well as Camp and Broadfoot and their winger is injured as well?

I may even be optimistic - which will no doubt mean we will get gubbed

Was it last season or the season before that Rotherham played us off the park and we managed to scrape a draw? They were near the bottom then so this is a potential banana skin for us.

1-0 Rotherham, we all know it's going to happen.

It is certainly another potential banana skin - another Wigan.

But Adeyemi and Ajayi cannot play, and they have become very influential in recent Rotherham matches. Warnock will take nothing for granted and will ensure they're focussed. Rotherham must have lost any hope of escape this season. The bookies odds will be right.

Which one of the old cliches will apply? They are already down so they have no pressure and can play with freedom, or they are fighting for survival so will be dangerous opponents.

I think it'll be the latter but I'm hoping we'll have too much for them. 1-0 City.

Perhaps Warnock has brought about enough change for us to throw off the shackles of 'inevitability'.

Apparently we can even win games in the final seconds these days.

Yes, you can never be overconfident in this league. Unless we score early I see a tight game ending 0-0.

Absolutely. On the other hand, maybe we will give them an utter tonking.
