    UK World Cup anyone?

Presumably they would have to allow all host nations automatic qualification.

UK and Ireland would work because everyone can get around easily and fairly quickly, every city would be max 1 hour flight away from anywhere teams are based.

    12-13 cities?

    Wembley
    Emirates
    Old Trafford / Etihad
    St James Park
    Villa Park
    Amex
    Elland Road
    Portman Road
    Millennium
    Hampden Park
    Murrayfield?
    Windsor Park
    Aviva

Would they need to include Ireland? Think there's more than enough major stadiums to do it in the UK alone. Especially with the likes of Spurs' new stadium due to complete in 2018. FIFA might see giving auto qualification to 5 countires as too much, not that 4 would be a whole lot better mind.

Only if we enter as a U.K. team

How about the Celtic bid? Some stadiums would need expanding.

    Mill Stad
    CCS/Swansea
    Murrayfield
    Hampden
    Celtic Park
    Aberdeen
    Windsor Park
    Aviva
    Croke Park
    Cork
    Limerick

2026 WC is likely to be USA/Mexico / Canada, providing there's decent transport links over the walls that Trump is building.

Lots of potential for defensive wall jokes, though.
