Why do we name our storms as if they're our grannies/grandpas? Desmond, Gertrude, Frank, Barbara, Doris...all sweet old ladies/gents.
Surely we should be fearing the arrival of Big Dave, or Mental Duncan, or Keith the Beast, or Mark?
