Well if I had anything like the kind of money to splash out on a football club then I would get a loan for another 5m and buy Cardiff than Wolves!

This is all very odd. The article doesn't read quite right, the way it came out, the source etc. Plus the speed at which Dalman and then VT reacted and the language used about receiving and rejecting offers and being open to offers. I think something's afoot.

As is always the case it seems with CCFC Paul , every development and announcement seems to have a twist to it.

I have suggested in this thread that people have been creating mischief with this particular Bloomberg report , then realised that I was guilty myself of doing exactly the same thing by intimating that it might have been Sam Hammam who "planted" the report.
Sam and myself have a longstanding relationship where we speak on the phone fairly regularly about football in general and CCFC in particular. We tend to disagree quite a lot , but that makes our discussions more honest and enjoyable. In the case of my comments on this thread , with the benefit of hindsight, I think I was wrong in my own mischief making and owe him an apology (which I have given to him this morning). Won`t stop me arguing with him about football matters in the future though!
