In a league of our own

The only developed nation with a growing economy and shrinking wages.

But that's what the Tory party are for, to get more of the money into the hands of the very rich

It is not enough to point out the obvious. Try and explain why and how it is happening.

Try not to be so condescending maybe?

The implication was that it has happened as a result of ideological austerity.

What does "ideological austerity" mean? That is just an empty slogan. You are happy to complain about the effects of globalism but you and other faux socialists on here don't really want to know about the hows and whys of globalism.

Ideological austerity is quite clearly a series of cuts driven by adherence to an ideology rather than evidence based decisions.
I don't complain about the effects of globalism, i support globalism.
This self evidently isn't anything to do with globalism, or we wouldn't be literally the only country that is seeing this effect.
Immigration putting downward pressure on wages isn't the driving factor as other countries in the upper right quadrant have far higher levels of immigration.

No, but I'm sure we can all guess where that would be.

I'm not sure if it is correct to say they have had higher levels of immigration. Anyway the relevant figure is the number entering the labour market. Many of the immigrants going to the Nordic countries and Germany don't have the necessary language skills to get jobs.

If you don't think immigration is driving down wages then perhaps you believe the labour market is immune to the law of supply and demand. The only people who will benefit from globalism are employers who want to reduce wages and that is working for them nicely in the UK. Free trade exports jobs abroad and immigration reduces real wages and conditions of employment. I see that zero hours contracts have increased again according to the latest figures.
