He lurks waiting for something trivial to nitpick, and then he is like a dog with a bone and spends the rest of the conversation going on about the same thing over and over again. He may think it's amusing, but I don't have time for this sort of thing. If people want to play up, they get it straight back. I just mirror their behaviour, even if they don't realise it.

What are you doing? You already had the last word and I left you to it, rather than possibly exacerbating things for you... but you can't help yourself. Which is why it's clear that there is an underlying issue there. I'm not saying this as just someone on the internet, but as someone who has worked alongside CPNs, psychiatrists, mental health social workers and other mental health professionals in supporting vulnerable people who have been diagnosed with mental health problems. You show all of the signs of a personality disorder and working with someone professionally can help you.

Go ahead and report it - I'd like to know what reason you'd give for it when I'm trying to give you genuine advice. I've seriously stopped trying to upset you as I can see how much of an effect that it's having if you're still trying to continue with an argument (or whatever you're trying to do).
