You may not like his methods but they are effective. The whole world now knows that said senior senator misrepresented (some say lied) her Cherokee ansestory in order to obtain a place with funding at Harvard that was reserved for minorities. She also used this bogus "fact" to further her political career. So are you going to shoot the messenger or listen to the message? Personally speaking, I don't think Trump cares about what people like you think, as long as he is cleaning up Washinton DC. He wants to be judged on the end result and not how he got there.

He could have just tweeted it.

He has since last year, but he couldn't resist the opportunity to hit a home run.

Yes Gluey, maybe it was a calculated attempt to discredit a senator.

Or maybe it was just the latest in a litany of insults he's made against Native Americans stretching all the way back to his attempts to run their casinos out of town in the early 90s. It would be the equivalent of Theresa May making a sheepshagger joke at an event for Welsh WWII heroes.

Either way, it looks to have backfired on Trump as the world seems to be more interested in his insensitivity rather than a senator very few people would recognise if she was on their doorstep.

For someone who claims to be neutral (😂😂) I don’t think I’ve ever seen such rampant cheerleading and promotion of a political
    Leaders agenda.

It's astounding, isn't it? He's been banging the Trump drum for about 18 months and couldn't have made a less convincing case if he tried.

You are absolutely spot on for once when you say I don't like his methods. If the President of the US thinks that a ceremony in the White House to honour Navajo war veterans should be remembered for a cheap semi-racist attack on a Democratic Senator (presumably because she is challenging the legality of one of Trump appointees) then you reinforce those (me included) who believe his behaviour demeans his office and his country. From where I sit there are cleaner and more attractive creatures swimming in the swamp than the one at the other end of the sewage pipe.

When Trump said, in his inaugration speech, that he took an oath of allegiance to all Americans, it seems he meant only the white ones. I'm struggling to think of a non-white group that he hasn't gone out of his way to insult this year.

As a left of center leaning person, I hope that one day we will see some genuine liberal candidates seeking political office, and not those Chicago mobsters who have been in charge of the Democrat Party for over 30 years. Trump is just a means to an end in my book.

Eric Trump, long in a battle with his brother Jr for the title of Stupidest Trump Son, has tweeted about the Pocahontas controversy:

"The irony of an ABC reporter (whose parent company Disney has profited nearly half a billion dollars on the movie "Pocahontas") inferring that the name is "offensive" is truly staggering to me."

Someone should tell him that Pocahontas was about Pocahontas, hence the name.

It's all a distraction, the only relevant question is did the senator obtain a funded place at Harvard set aside for minorities by misrepresenting her heritage?

Why is Trump's son trying to distract from the real question? Are you saying he's a double agent? Ooh Gluey, you and your imagination!

Is this another of those times where you've backed yourself into a corner so say something vague in the hope that everyone just gives up?

If you think that this was some machiavellian manouvre by Trump reheat accusations against Warren then I guess you would believe it to be a distraction. If you think it was a crass attempt at humour by someone who chose the pocahontus name-call because his only reference point with female native americans is a Disney cartoon then his idiot son just reinforces his own juvenile crassness and stupidity.

Or he could be on, or part of, a mission (knowingly or somehow unwittingly) to make the USA a very angry and divided place.

In your opinion, why is Eric trying to distract us from this question? Do you think he's gone rogue?

    David Lammy MP:

"Trump sharing Britain First. Let that sink in. The President of the United States is promoting a fascist, racist, extremist hate group whose leaders have been arrested and convicted. He is no ally or friend of ours. @realDonaldTrump you are not welcome in my country and my city."

Over to May and Corbyn to make it clear that the UK can't work with a man like this.

Hey Gluey, how come you're not answering this?

Is it because you played the "it's all a distraction" card wrong? Surely that is supposed to be against the liberal fake news msm, not against Team Trump.

No wonder you're not getting paid for propaganda like others are, what a schoolboy error!
