Do you think the Evening Standard will give her a push?

    He's got 3 jobs now, he's a busy lad ... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/...-time-adviser/

I'm not sure how he's going to find the time to fit in his Northern Powerhouse

Oh its only officially a four or so days a month. I suspect they will let a few days slide, for the maaaahoooooosive benefits Georgie brings for the £650K a year they pay him. It's his lucrative speeches I would worry over.
Will he have time to pick them up from the writers and get to the gigs?

    Anyhow.
What is Georgies long game here ? - perhaps he possibly thinks Brexit isn't done and dusted yet.

And when will he find time to fit in his coke-snorting dominatrix sessions?

I think that is one of the three jobs.

It will be once he takes over, everything he touches turns to crap

Think if you look back his budgets were more giving than that of the current Chancellor.

He was considered more left leaning than a lot of his right wing centrallst government.

How can his successor at the Standard ask for a full-time job if Osborne can do it part-time?

I concur, this had opened up a can of worms. What about other jobs?

    Re: George Osborne

Any story from this paper criticising the current government, especially if it's the current chancellor, is going to be a leading discussion point for other news sources and especially those where there is more limited bias or a more left-wing bias.

Forget questions about whether there is the time to run both jobs, the paper has lost its journalistic integrity due to this obvious conflict of interest.

Both had to scrap major budget policies shortly after announcing them.

    I like Gideon.

He's a reminder to us all about how lack of ability, intelligence and charisma matters not a jot as long as your dad was the fifth earl of spunksville and you went to a posh school.

    Re: George Osborne

This will cheer folk up :

"" He was originally called “Gideon Oliver Osborne” (nicknamed “Giddy” by schoolmates), before changing his first name to George by deed poll at the age of 13. Whilst working for John Major, Osborne was “perky” in his delight about Tony Blair's election as Prime Minister - dubbing him “The Master”.

Lets stand back and await the anti Blair brigade, question is why did Gideon name him as so

I saw him cleaning the bogs at the bus station earlier, apparently he does that on Monday and Friday Lunchtimes, fits around his hours at the standard quite well.
