    Former Liverpool player, captain, coach, caretaker manager (twice) and member of the famous bootroom has passed away.

    One of the "old school" football men imho.

    Yep, a genuine old school football man.
    Was there before Shankley and was there during their glory years. always came across well whenever I saw him on TV.
