Yes, it's a tough one to call for the club and depends on the severity of the injury, but to bring in someone else of his quality (I believe we need to strengthen in that area) would cost us big in wages AND a fee.

He's out of contract at the end of June. If there's a 3.5m Euros offer for him it will be to him and his agent and City won't get a penny. So does he stay with City on a reduced contract or take 3.5m Euros? We won't see much of him between now and end of season and then he'll be gone. Good player but an injury prone liability to the club, as he's only played half a season for us in the last two seasons and this season only started 7 games I think.
He's probably the least likely player in our squad to be playing for us next season. His wage being off the books will free up funds for potentially 2 decent Championship players.
I think Morrison will be off too if we get a decent offer for him.
