    Middlesbrough

Can't say I've seen much of them but they look miles better than their position suggests in this game.

They haven't won a league game in 2017

Swansea can't handle their winger Traore at all, he is flying.

    Fabio is playing as well.

The Jacks are in the group of bottom four on merit and since Hull changed their manager it may be said that Swansea should be in the bottom three group.

Many more performances like that and Hull will pull away from them. Hull face Boro in midweek while the jerks get battered by Spurs. They could be a couple of points adrift and falling.

The Hull manager has worked miracles with next to nothing.
Here's hoping the jacks new manager "bounce" is over, it seems to be and Boro was points dropped big time.

It's going to be a fascinating battle for the last relegation place. Sunderland are gone and if Middlesbrough don't win at Hull I think it's safe to assume they will be going down as well. That leaves Swansea Town and Hull battling to avoid that last relegation spot, though maybe West Ham and Burnley could be sucked in as well, neither of those have won in their last 6.

Since their lucky win at Anfield, Swansea have lost 4 on the trot away from home. They've got trips to West Ham and Watford after their defeat to Spurs in the week, the West Ham game in particular looks vital for both sides. The Jacks record in these games against sides down the bottom has been terrible recently. You'd expect them to win at Sunderland but before that they face Man Utd and Everton and have tough battles at home to Stoke and West Brom.

Hull can't win away for toffee, either. Trips to Man City, Stoke, Southampton and Palace are likely to leave them with nowt, so they are relying on their home games. Middlesbrough, Watford and Sunderland look beatable given their home form while they finish with Spurs at home.

Palace have the toughest run in, facing Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Tottenham. They also play Leicester, while home games against Hull and Burnley should give them 6 points.

West Ham's fixtures are not too enticing, either. Apart from the home game against Swansea, they entertain Everton, Tottenham and Liverpool, with trips to Arsenal, Sunderland, Stoke and Burnley.

A few weeks ago Swansea were looking safe. At the moment they're anything but.

Yes, that's the impression. Not just in terms of results but in terms of performances as well. Teams know that if they keep Sigurdsson quiet they have half a chance and they need to stop the endless crosses and long balls to Llorente. Pretty football it isn't.

Swansea's record and performances against the better teams in the division is decent (12th in a table against teams in the top third). Their record against teams in the bottom third is not great, only Bournemouth, Palace and Sunderland have worse records against the strugglers. Consider they scored last gasp winners against Palace twice and Burnley, their record against the division's worst would be even more abysmal.

As I was watching the game , I was thinking that there's two piss-poor sides on TV today.

They, the jacks, look in trouble again, hull have some nice home games too. You can also bet spurs will have their tales up in Wednesday too with Chelsea losing and having some tricky games coming up. It's starting to have some interest at both ends again....great to see Fabio doing the salute too
