Thread: Welsh ball raffle

    Welsh ball raffle

I have a 2013 Welsh ball signed by the likes of Gareth Bale, Craig Bellamy , Joe Allen and many more.

It was signed by the players after the friendly between Wales and Finland (The Gareth Bale show)

Comes with a letter from the Welsh FA in a faded Welsh FA Carrier Bag.

I won the ball in a Newport council auction . I would like the ball to go to a Welsh supporter now , but not necessarily the richest one , so I am going to raffle it with the proceeds going to my cycle between Harlech and Cardiff with the Cardiff City Foundation .

The way to buy a ticket if you are interested is pay £1 at my just giving page with your name (and mention ccmb )and sign below to say you have bought a ticket .

I am going to try and get it on the Welsh messgae board and maybe one of our Jacks will put it on Planet Swans , they dont have to agree with the cause , just want the ball.

The raffle will be drawn by Blue Tone (if I cant get any one famous to do it ) early in July

I will post some photos later

    Cheers

Update on the signed Welsh ball
    Nugent has 10 tickets
    Colonel has 2
    Addie has 2
    Tony has 5
    Zenith 2
Thanks guys really appreciate it .
I was offered £150 for the ball but had decided to raffle it to give everyone a chance to win it .
The signed sheets have great names on there and should be worth something in years to come from this purple patch
    In Welsh footballing history .

Up to 87% of my target. Make a donation and have the chance of winning a great Welsh signed ball AND the signed sheets for every
player who played in the 2012/13 season for Wales .
    Thanks

I have started training , doing 35 miles round the Gower on a Saturday morning and attending spin classes twice a week.

Whilst i enjoy cycling the jaunts around the Gower have been hard and only half of the distances I will have to do each day for 3 days
the hills on the first day will be twice the climbs I have been doing as well , it is fair to say I am more than a little concerned about keeping up.

For sure Mike . Anyone who has donated from CCMB will automatically go in for the ball . I have had others buy tickets in work , their donations are marked with their interest in the ball .

I think the OP obtained the ball from a Cwmbran Community Council auction not Newport.

Good Luck Jimmy. Just really seen the post now and noticed you were doing this. You helped me out in the past with the Bongo. Top Man! Never forgotten that. You really are a star, good luck tomorrow. I hope it all goes well for you and the team. Great Cause.
