Re: £5 per game in Premier League

Huddersfield FC have secured 170 million for reaching the premier league it will rise to 290 million if they avoid relegation.
If they gave every Huddersfield supporter a free season ticket it would only cost 4 million which would still leave them 166 million.
    That's innovation.

Revenue from ticket prices for premier league teams is such a small percentage in the overall income of clubs it seems crazy clubs are so obliging to rip off those who are loyal.

Innovation is a new approach/method. As far as I'm aware no other club in PL is charging £5 per game. If a club offers ST's for free in future that will also be an innovation.

£5 pound for a match ticket proves that every supporter in the premier league should watch their team for free.

Not really innovative. What about travelling expenses?

Swansea paid for their supporters to travel to Sunderland. Innovation at its finest

It was a smart move, but hardly innovative.

That just leaves a bunch of free season tickets up for grabs. To anyone. At least if you charge something, it requires some effort and provides an incentive to show up.

So reducing season ticket prices is innovative?
