    Well that is amazing well done NASA.

    So they're talking about putting a mission together that will fly in 2026, I wonder if waiting that amount of time is a budgetary issue or a technology issue (both of which could be overcome with a decent injection of funding or collaboration between multiple space agencies) or whether that's some sort of optimal time to launch a probe based on planet positioning?

    Either way this is a rare opportunity and I hope every effort is made to get the probe out there ASAP.

    I think our Sun is highly overrated. At least the Moon gives a bit of light at night. The Sun only shines in the daytime, when it's light anyway.

    The length of time is down to when the earth and Saturn (and most probably jupiter) are appropriately aligned.

    The technology is already there
