The FAW Youth Cup Final will be held at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday 23 April 2017 (2:30pm kick-off).

Holders Swansea City are looking to seal an eighth successive Title, but standing in their way are the Welsh Premier Development League Southern Champions Cambrian & Clydach

Cambrian have beaten Llantwit Fardre, Haverfordwest County, Llanelli, Bangor City and then triumphed 7-1 against Llandudno in the semi-final at Newtown to reach the Final. Goals from Josh Maksimovic (2), captain David Thomas (pen), Cameron Keetch (3) and Sam Jones secured their passage into the Final.

A huge achievement for Cambrian and Clydach, a small South Wales club, who have invested heavily in a UEFA academy and are now producing some highly talented youngsters.

This year, they won the Welsh Premier Development League (South) for the second year in row, losing only game all season.

Cambrian and Clydach appear to be doing something right and setting the bar in term of youth development outside of the Welsh Pro clubs.

Why not come along and support a team of local valleys youngsters against the Jacks. You never know, David v Goliath.
