    Sending teams down

Do you pleasure in sending teams down ?
I suppose it depends who it is ....must say don't have any affinity to Wigan so couldn't care less!
    Swansea or Bristol however!

    No, not really.
The only time I want another team to lose is if we are playing them or if their result impacts on us.
If neither of those scenarios are in play then what another team does or happens to them is not really an issue.
However, should Bristol City go down I would probably have a chuckle if only because of a certain visitor on here who really is a piece of work.

Schadenfreude is not an appealing quality.

There was a silver-lining to this defeat as it effectively sent Leeds down: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot..._1/6578799.stm

Oh, there was a lot of pleasure in us sending Middlesbrough down in the 60s and Palace and Carlisle down in the 70s because it was a question of them or us.

Is that Lee Peltier playing for Hull?

"We have gone from being the division's top scorers to not being able to score at all
So says the manager of a team with Steve Thompson and Warren Feeney as strikers.

With regards to OP, I think there was something enjoyable about Forest being nervous last week with us in the lead but I wouldn't enjoy being the last to put the dagger into Wigan.

    That was a great day.

If the boot was on the other foot there'd be plenty happy to send us down

So today I'd be happy to see us win and Wigan go down. I don't pay good money to come here to see Wigan have something to celebrate.

This is the bottom line actually and you have summed it up.

That said, if somebody offered me a city loss today would guarantee more end of season drama with the distinct probability of a worzels relegation then so be it I say
(This from a non travelling fan mange tout)

    Enjoy the the day boss

We'd no more be sending them down than any other team that's beat them. If we win.
