    Nurses Using Foodbanks

Andrew Marr: 'We have nurses going to foodbanks, that must be wrong.'

Theresa May: 'There are many complex reasons why people go to foodbanks.'

    Because they are hungry?

That doesn't go far these days if they have left home to work - Rent, Bills/Outgoings/genuine necessities, Transport (reliable car almost essential if you are nurse working all sorts of shifts).
Cant be much left for food?

    Foodbanks are a Tory thing.

It started off with people on benefits using them, and the Tories said there are many complex reasons why people go to foodbanks.

And now it's the nurses, and the Tories said there are many complex reasons why people go to foodbanks.

Who's it going to be next, and where will it stop?

They're happy to see them increasing.

    Homelessness is also increasing.

All because of austerity. A political choice, not an economic one.

No they are not a Tory thing.
They started in this country under the last Labour Government.

There are twice as many people as this country using them under a socialist President in France as well.

When you say its the nurses how many do you mean??

And I am not trying to justify their use just clarifying a few things.

Are we saying those wages don't provide enough money to eat , is it a statement by someone, or a fact ??

I found one comment in the independent which suggests it's a poltical thought if not followed by Labours plans in the future.

There doesn't seem to an actual real example, just a uncorroborated statement.

I'm not saying it isn't happening just asking where is the fact.

Andrew Marr wouldn't make it up would he?

Anyway, if everybody going in for an operation took their yesterday's leftover dinner with them, it would solve the nurses hunger problem, and everybody could sleep with a clear conscience

You could always trying answering the points in my post instead ?

What nurses, where, what band, what location, were they fully qualified or still studying ?
C'mon, the national debt is £1,730 billion. It was £902 billion when they took office in 2010. Those are ONS numbers.

One reason nurses and others are heading to foodbanks is the average wage is up 68% since 1997, while property prices have gone up 260%. 20 years ago the typical home cost X 3.5 an average annual wage, whereas today it's X 7.6. The PPI giveaway, credit deregulation and minuscule, record-low interest rates all designed to inflate that bubble and promote debt-fuelled consumer spending all while robbing savers to force many into riskier assets like the stock market which is another bubble ready to burst.

I am no behaviour analyst but there is no way you aren't Feedy. Exactly the same shtick, read a wiki, then recite the facts and play the genius authority figure on every topic.
