Ridiculous decision. Apparently not only is he a superb player but he's a massive character around the training ground too. When they've just lost the likes of Xavi and Puyol, getting rid of Alves borders on pathetic.

Not so sure about that. Monaco had 3 or 4 good chances and didn't put them away, Juve had 3 or 4 good chances and buried two of them. Monaco were never on top but they aren't really that kind of team.
