    Champions League Final - Transport.

Good to see the WAG have realised what damage could be caused to the City and the the countries reputation if there is transport chaos after the game, so there are going to be loads more trains. No mention of any contingency if someone has a minor prang anywhere near the Brynglas tunnels mind.

The waste of human life that is the WAG, probably breathed a huge sigh of relief when they realised no English teams would make the final. Thus coming to the conclusion that most of the attendees coming to the City for the game would be flying in to the UK and catching trains and buses to get to Cardiff. Not by a large amount of cars using the Brynglas tunnels.

Wish they'd just get on with it and build the relief road, instead of debating the damn thing!

"Champions League final: More trains to avoid 'embarrassment'"

I love this headline. I had the misfortune of being in town trying to get a train when one of the 6 nations games was on.
I spent 10 Minutes in a queuing system watching people queue jumping when I decided to "do something about it" only to find I was not only in the wrong queue but 5 minutes walk away on the other side of the track in Penarth Road. It was chaos!

'Train' and 'embarrassment' are synonymous with each other FFS.

I'm a season ticket holder who would attend the evening games if I could get home after a game by train.
Unfortunately, it's not possible due to the rather poor timetable.
