Thread: FT: Hull 0 - 2 Sunderland

  1. #26

    Re: Hull v Sunderland

    Next weekend

    Sat

    Sunderland v Swansea

    Sun

    Palace v Hull

Best case scenario could have seen the Jacks relegated next weekend. Now there's a chance they could be 4 points ahead of Hull before Hull play again.

if Swansea lose to Everton and then Sunderland next weekend they can still go down if Hull beat Palace on Sunday

Sounds like they've used up all their luck.

    Why so angry?

We used to laugh at them because they were obsessed by us. Look at us now.

Don't mind either way but it is shaping up for an interesting few games in the run in.
I reckon it will go to the final weekend with a late twist in one of the matches.
Terrific stuff for neutrals and squeaky bum time for those involved.

They stay up or go down. Which is preferable? It's not like there's anything left to cheer for with the City this season.

It is a CCMB in-joke - after a certain Jack pundit (but who never played for the Jacks) and who calls a penalty a "pelanty".

Couldn't care less. Think Swansea will go down though. Hull will beat Palace next week.

Exactly. Need something to get worked up about. City ain't doing it at the moment.

Bout time we have a derby game again. Would spice next season up a bit.

Not sure between Sunderland / M'boro / Swansea/ Hull who would be most likely to go straight back up, or struggle again

i'm more bothered that the choice of team I wanted to win today didn't. It's like anytime I bet on football. I seem to pick the wrong un.

Pressure has got to hull. Was always gonna be a case of "who blinks first" between them and Swansea, with swansea having that extra bit of experience. TBH, hats off to hull, they have done well to stay in it as long as they have, considering the state they were in at the beginning of the season

Er - sorry Colonel. Not quite. The Swans are staying up - but still a bit to do. As a proud Welshman surely you should be proud to have a Welsh club in the Premier League?

Oh and congratulations to Newport County. Two clubs with bottle.

This is what happens when people don't mark my words.

I did, at odds of 2-1. Means I now have 2 mortgages, so thanks for that.

Hull could be relegated next week. Really couldn't see Swansea staying up 3 weeks ago, now they could with a game to spare, despite Hull's recent revival.

I know what the truth is. I asked because I wanted to see what your answer would be.
