If this were to happen I would hope we would aim to out-Tesla Tesla, rather than try to compete with mainstream car building

"Ambulances have been called more than 100 times since 2014 for workers experiencing fainting spells, dizziness, seizures, abnormal breathing and chest pains..."

That's private sector workers for you. Lazy, excuse-making shirkers to a man.

We don't want new manufacturing in Wales! What remains of industry should be offshored to China and other third-world sweatshops so they can make the stuff which we can purchase cheaply. We can pay for it by increasing national and household debt to yet greater heights. Globalisation has worked a treat so far with rampant consumerism displacing UK jobs. Nothing can go wrong with this economic model.

We should go ahead with the PlayStation 5 too before Sony think of it.

coolred i guess you are talking a car assembly plant ? in terms of auto suppliers there is a thriving supply chain in Wales supporting lots of jobs to some of the major car OEM's . the supply chain into these are called tier 1 or tier 2 suppliers , bridgend ford , gestamp are 2 which spring to mind tho ford are going through a challenging time

with aston martin and possibly TVR coming down here there is a strong possibility that a few more suppliers will come down too which will be good for the Wales manufacturing industry. the law of averages in the auto industry if someone like JLR take on 1 worker the supply chain will take on 3 workers .

i,m sure brexit will have an effect to how it all pans out in the next few years
