Last night I was casting around for something to watch and came across
" Brassed Off ".

I knew the vague outline of the plot from reviews and thought I'd give it
a go.

Really enjoyed it , summed up the era of coal mine closures and was packed
with great British actors who were younger ( or alive ) when it was made in
1996.

Pete Postlethwaite's speech at the end had me blubbing away like a good 'un.

What films have you put off watching and then really enjoyed ?
