Thread: Newport in shutdown

  1. #1

    Newport in shutdown

Friars Walk evacuated earlier, town gridlocked

    Suspicious vehicle apparently.

    Bomb squad called in.

    Re: Newport in shutdown

Apparently it's been taxed, MOT'd and insured, hence the suspicion.

Get over yourself he was in no way making a joke over the tragic deaths in Manchester earlier this week.

He's poked a little fun at the people of Newport that's all.

Stop being an over sensitive twat ffs.

I was going to add to Arfurs post and say that, the authorities were first alerted after seeing a woman get out of the car that had been reverse parked perfectly at the first attempt.

Apologies for offending anyone, but looking at the thread it appears most people got the joke and that it wasn't anything to do with Manchester.

On that point, can I ask how long you've lived in Britain for? I ask as that joke is as old as the hills and secondly, a very old British trait is to remember their humour in times of trouble.
