Thread: Danny Welbeck or Marcus Rashford?

    Danny Welbeck or Marcus Rashford?

Having only watched these players on TV over the last few days, who would you pick if you were a manager?

I was disappointed with Rashford when he played in the Europa Cup but maybe that was down to Mourhino's tactics as anything. On the other hand, Welbeck impressed me more and I think Wenger did well signing him.

Utd should have kept both. Important to have home grown players at a club.

Today Rashford but when Wellbeck is fully fit, not much between them

Rashford is just 19, he'll become better and better every year

Rashford will surpass Welbeck - he's had injuries but at 26, Welbeck hasn't really fulfilled his potential. Rashford is a lively player but he's probably not as good as is made out. Not quite another Macheda/Januszaj (spelling) but I doubt he'll hit the heights it seems he's expected to.

If the question was Rashford or Welbeck or Sturridge, then Sturridge trumps them all in my book. The Klopp comments about how he doesn't seem to want to get over his injuries are odd though. Something strange going on inside his head but he is a beautifully natural finisher.
