Your video doesn't work. Even if i concede that he blew up a bit later, he was nowhere near the keeper he was in the 80s yet i don't expect you to admit that.

You'll be wanting Paul Bodin in there next.

Only for the pens. Here's my dream British Lions penalty shootout list...

    1 - Bodin
    2 - Southgate
    3 - Pearce
    4 - McAllister
    5 - Waddle

Right. That should make sure that's the last we hear of the British Lions.

We've already had the Football British Lions anyway.

Team GB at the 2012 Olympics. Captain Bellamy . Saw them play at the Mill Stad.

    This will go down well

Should Bale even be in there??

Quality wise 100% of course he does but it was only his last year at Spurs that he started to really fire so is that enough to make a premier league Xl?

Watch the Video of his goals for spurs from that season, he was outstanding, it is only when you watch it that you realise what a season he had

    That's not in question

The rest of that team have had a 10-20 year Premier League career though

Perrish the friggin thought! We dont even want to consider the concept which would bring about the total demise of Wales, Scotland and NI. The English wouldnt need to worry, the rest of the world would refer to them as "England" anyway!

You're still right about Ramsey though.

Bale won player of the season twice in 3 years.
Southall was well past his best in the PL years. Ramsey is good but right not to be included.
Irwin isn't better than Cole and Rio should be in there.
Fletcher should not be anywhere near there.

It's not a best of British team - it's a team of Lions. ie- those with a bit of grit, heart and ready to face up to battle. That's why there's Terry, Adams and Irwin and not Rio or Cole.
