probably down to not getting the deal , if the player was fully fit , its a punt of sorts for the poorer relations , its the same with the risky signings like Ravel Morrison ,we are fishing in the bargain basement of life, thanks to the last few managers who bankrupted us or bought poorly and unwisely , that's all managers not just OGS

Patterson is not fishing in the bargain basement, if he had not been injured he would have gone to West ham, he is a cracking player, and not that much of a risk, if he was not injured we would never have signed him, he would have gone to a premiership side

Brilliant answer, if Slade or Trollope had made this signing they'd have been crucified. Out until at least October and everyone's creaming themselves over his signing for us. No one knows how good he will be, if he actually is as good as people believe, we won't know until then if at all.Has anyone actually watched him over his career to date? I bet half or more had never heard of him until January.
If he ends up like previous injured signings we won't see much of him.

What a bunch of moaners we are! Moaning before the guy has even kicked a ball, there is an old saying
"patience is a virtue possess it if you can it's always in in a woman but rarely in a man" should read "In a Cardiff city fan" how true

The problem is you buy a player assuming he can kick a ball???

Though i haven't seen much of him ditto Mendez i am really happy with the type of signings we have made so far.

These players seem young and hungry to push on in their careers and we have signed them with very little risk.

Some of the injured players we have signed in the past have come on inflated wages with nice juicy signing on fees at the end of their careers.

This signing is completely the opposite.

The point is Einstein he played 14 games in his last 2 years for us, was injured for all of his last season, yet you wanted the club to give him another contract. Yet here you are grumbling because we've signed an up and coming prospect who's out injured for a 2/3 months. Contradicting yourself as usual.

Hudson isn't on his way anywhere. He couldn't get in the Hudds team last year, he won't be anywhere near the team next year.
