Stilted, unconvincing and cliche ridden to the bitter end - normally I tend to feel sorry for someone under circumstances like hers, but you need to see the human being beneath it all to do that and she's never shown that side of herself.

I'm struggling to think of a Prime Minister before her during my lifetime who wouldn't have done so.

She spoke in public three times yesterday and all of those appearances were typical May. The one after seeing the Queen was okay I suppose because she said what she had to and was allowed to leave it at that. However, the one after that (following criticism within her party about her lack of contrition and sympathy for Tory MPs who had lost their seats apparently) was appalling as she answered every question by just saying the same things over and over again - even if she wants to change the way she is perceived, it's hard to see how she can do, because she just seems incapable of saying anything that comes close to empathising with the voters.

I found the speach she gave outside Downing Street quite disturbing, as she is going to coninue with her previous plans regarding human rights, freedom of speach, and taking military action in Syria and Iraq.

Wasn't really thinking in terms of what she said, more the way she said it - she managed to stay "on message".
