It's going to be very tough with the injuries we've got. A draw would be a very good result under the circumstances, and hope that Ireland and Austria also draw to keep things as they are. We'll then still be 4 points behind with 12 left to play for so it's not must win. But if we lose and Ireland win we're buggered.

We need Serbia to win out now, they have to beat ROI in my opinion. We just need to make sure a win at CCS vs them on the last day is enough, that's all we can realistically hope for. Dependent on GD of course but the minimum is 3 wins and a draw. If ROI get anything out of Serbia, we have to win out.

Can't say I'm bothered with Russia as the hosts, not really something to look forward to, going back to 1985.

All I can say is if Ramsey plays superbly and links up with Lawrence continually, we have a chance. Allen needs to be on top form as well in the middle of the park.
If not, we can kiss goodbye to the World Cup.

Score - As a one off game I would have said a draw would be a good results, but in the context we face a tough battle and a draw would be a very good and disappointing result at the same time. I want to see a team which can compete without Bale and a team who matches the desire and character shown by England, Scotland, NI yesterday. My score prediction is 2-2.
I think I'm right in saying that the last game that Bale missed was the away draw against Belgium. But they had already qualified.
