I'd go for David Davis. He strikes me as the most human and down to earth of all the leading contenders, and he'd be too good for Corbyn on every level. Johnson's bumbling act wore thin yonks ago. I like David Davis. Any right wing tory who can maintain the respect ( no pun intended!) and apparent friendship with George Galloway must have something about him.

He is probably the best of a pretty poor lot except for Ruth Davidson who has done remarkably well considering she only started in politics 8 years ago.

There is the problem of finding her a seat of course and I don't know how much support she would get amongst Tory MP's.
