    Tom Heaton

    First start for England.

    Well done lad.

Happy for him, always came across as a good professional, no moaning about not being first choice, and seemed well liked.

We're were blessed with him and Marshall .

    Re: Tom Heaton

Been very unlucky with both goals. Pulled off good saves which unfortunately partied to a French player to score.

Probably his last start after gifting the French 2 goals.

Da Iawn indeed. Now let's hope the sychophantic royal worshippers get stuffed by our French friends and allies

The referee review system is working well.... NOT...that was never a pelanty or sending off the defender accidentally clipped Diver Ali's heel

Accident or not that's a pen

Doesn't matter if it's an accident though

    How about the sending off

He was the last defender - clear goal scoring chance

    Re: Tom Heaton

Thought the red was harsh seeing as it was clearly accidental. Think a yellow and pen sufficed.

And well done Heaton, he's gone on to do very well for himself.

    Re: Tom Heaton

Didn't see the first goal he conceded, but surely with the second (good save as it was), the ball should have been punched/palmed out of the danger area. ?

How come in years past, a good goalkeeper would have grasped that ball with both hands ? You rarely see goalkeepers catching a ball these days, is it because of the make-up of the footballs. ?

If you think any keeper now, or in yesteryear, would have caught that second one then you need to lay off the Stella.
He was shot at from point black range.

Possibly could have done better to parry the first one wide rather than back in play if we are being critical.

Yes. The balls these days favour the attacker and swerve, dip all over the place.

The red was harsh without question! Last defender but not deliberately brought down. Pel and a yellow

Enjoyed the game though. I thought both sides played well

Definitely, it wasn't intentional but he stopped Alli.

Video refs are only going to be as good as the refs themselves, which is why you'll get some odd decisions. Keith Stroud didn't even know encroachment on a pen was for it to be retaken for crying out loud!

Hes Keith Stroud though. Nothing more to add.
