Thread: Adel Taarabt

    Re: Adel Taarabt

    Ravel was rubbish.

Cheering for the full time scumbag Ravel Morison just because he possibly could score us a few goals on his little loan

I remembering saying the club shouldnt get him at the time and was criticised for not getting behind the team.

Taraabt and him aren't comparable. Taraabt was class, one of the best championship players of all time.

Same applies to Ravel Morrison, the guy has the talent to be a top Premieship player if he was willing to listen but clearly he has zero respect for authority. If hes not going to listen to Alex Ferguson or Sam Allardyce then lesser managers have no chance.
Over 150 games for QPR I think your selling him short.

Wrong. Koumas played nearly as many games for WBA (123) as he did for Tranmere (127). He only played 67 times for Cardiff & 54 times for Wigan.

    ?

A career of over 450 games of which only 123 were spent with WBA.

And yet you are using that giant of a club QPR to champion Taarabt. Snarf.

You didn't say that though, you said most of his games were spent at Cardiff & Wigan but those two clubs he played the least for. You've had a mare son.

He was class for 1 season. And has wasted the rest of his career.

Yes with a better attitude he might have played for bigger clubs but he didn't get bombed out of places without even playing, or playing a handful of times, like Taraabt and Morrison.
Agreed. Koumas had a long and successful career.

500 games club and country with 240 club games at a decent level. He may not have made everything out of his talents but there will be plenty of "could have beens" who look at his career with jealous eyes.

I was going to say West Brom he was actually playing well there until they made Robson manager

He only had 4 clubs and played a minimum of 44 games for them, making over 100 appearances for 2 clubs.

JKB is clearly missing the point. Taraabt has been bombed out of yet another club that he failed to make more than 15 appearances for. Hence the OP.

Its all very will having AC Milan, Spurs and Benfica on your CV but he only played a total of 21 times for them, and in Benficas case didnt even play for the first team!!!

Koumas played more games for his country than than Adel did for Milan, Spurs, Benfica and Fulham put together.
