Believe it or not the security services are not interested in your bizarre w@nking online behaviour.
What they are interested in is metadata, direction of traffic, and getting ISP's to have a more concise 'big data' logging systems that keeps historical data.

    No easy task
They are interested when the wanking is over kids and rightly so.

Interesting, then, that people's internet history is quite often used as evidence in a Court of Law (or the press - depends who sees it first).

Any wanna be terrorist etc would have wiped that, or would have used a USB based OS like Kali Linux etc and then thrown away the usb stick.

The internet history I am talking about is the IP traffic, the destination IP address, what other protocols used etc.
Did they use the TOR (The Onion Router) and associated tools.

It is near on impossible to track such things as a matter of course, and the amount of data needed is huge. There are tools that can do it - but they wouldn't be able to cope with the levels of traffic. You could attempt to filter it - but with websites and communication methods ever changing - it's not as straight forward as people make out.
It sounds like you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. It sounds like you've just tried to find anything to support this nonsense because the party you "support" are all for it.

Another example of how stupid partisan politics is.

You make it sound like this will only affect nasty terrorists. The fact is, anti terrorism laws have been used before for trivial matters

When the Government gets rid of human rights laws to fight terrorism, the new laws are not selective and apply to all.

the key here will be the term intranet

you use the government safe intranet, where all the sites are checked, you can go about your business knowing you are fairly safe

imagine it to be akin to China's 'net
