My feeling is that he left in spirit when Malky was sacked. He ran around for a few months more but was just going through the motions. More of a poodle than a pitbull. Very disappointing.
Part of me doesn't blame him as he had a world cup in Brazil looming and Chile were fancied to do well. We were paying him a very decent wage of course, but by January our hopes of staying up were quickly fading so it's not surprising he checked out.
