Some great songs in there, done superbly. Nile Rodgers is a legend Barry Gibb was also unbelievable given how long he's been going

Agreed on both. Also thought the Killers and Goldfrapp were excellent.

    A very good day.
Really felt like I wanted to be there this evening.

Enjoyed the Foos last night and thus went on a Foo-fest (oooh-er) until dawn on da Tube.

Which has pretty much f*cked Sunday up .... Doghouse;)

    Agreed mate.
Looking forward to the Gingerbread man. I love the guy, so down to earth.
My daughter seen him at the O2 on Thursday and she said he was brilliant.

I just don't get Ed Sheeron.

It's all about opinions mate. If we all liked the same music wouldn't the world be a boring place

    Fair enough.
He writes his own stuff but he's no Bob Dylan.
    Just my opinion

Who's playing Sheerans guitar? He's certainly not.

Certainly getting all kinds of magical noises with a 6 string acoustic, he must be good.

    Cheap and cheerful.
    Public being duped IMO

They're the same types of guitars you see on repeats of Top of the Pops each week.

He uses a looper - watch his feet.
Records a phrase (in real time) - or two or three - and it loops until he starts/stops them.
He's not my thing, but it's 'all him' doing it TBF.

Great music on the radio today

    I dont mind Ed

the girls have his CD in the van, its harmless enough pop music, at least he can play a tune and sing a little

he has a knack of producing a catchy tune and is attempting to entertain the crowd tonight

    Re: Glastonbury 2017

No doubt he's talented as f~@k but it doesn't do it for me.

Foo's last night had me rocking, this guy has me foot tapping at best.

Well that's the end of another Glastonbury Festival for another year, I hope you all enjoyed it.

The weekend kicked off with a performance by The Pretenders, so it's only fair to end off with a rare early rehearsal video of Chrissie and the lads, as a reminder of how they used to be ..

Just caught up with The Killers. Brilliant

I saw Green Day play a secret set at Reading a few years ago. 12 noon. It was amazing.

I'm going to see Radiohead in Glasgow on Friday week. Not really my cup of tea but my lad is into them. I'm happy to be outdoors, in a park with a beer.

The were on the wrong stage, they should have swapped with Ed Sheeran

    Re: Glastonbury 2017

Tonight was so poor around heraldiner times. Ed pulled a good crowd but very little if he's not your bag.
John Peel stage saved the day though with the added bonus of The Killers turning up along with the sunshine.
To summarise, two great headliners (although only the one turned up) but scarce pickings apart from that. Enough to be going on with but not a classic year. Roll on 2019

    Re: Glastonbury 2017

Chic were the highlight for me. Utter brilliance.
