INLAND REVENUE SCAM, doing the rounds !!

Now I know you are all intelligent lads & lasses on here, but just thought I'd ask if anyone else has had a bogus call off tossers proposing to be from THE INLAND REVENUE.

It's a recorded message and states that The Inland Revenue has taken a lawsuit against you and asks you to press 1 for more information.

We didn't press 1, but checked the caller's number, (which was 02038073161), which is listed as a SCAM number.

Just warn your elderly relatives, as it might frighten the older generation.

There is no longer any such thing as the Inland Revenue since they merged with HM Customs.

It is now HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs service)

Switched on people know this, BUT the recorded message states "The Inland Revenue", that's why I put "The Inland Revenue", as the recorded message don't state "HMRC", it's states "The Inland Revenue".

Whilst your mesmerized the other one opens your back door and nicks your wallet out of of your coat or jacket hanging up in the back
